1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete our contact or enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and the contents of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and provide the service you request.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, and where you have given the relevant consent, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages and general interaction data. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide quotes, installations, repairs and maintenance.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To measure website performance and understand how visitors use the site (only with your analytics consent).
  • To support future advertising and remarketing, such as Google Ads conversion tracking (only with your marketing consent).
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Lawful basis for processing (POPIA)

We process your personal information where: you have consented (for example, non-essential cookies and marketing); it is necessary to respond to your enquiry or perform a contract with you; it is necessary for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business, balanced against your rights; or we are required to do so by law.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We group them into categories and, in line with POPIA, all non-essential cookies remain switched off until you opt in through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time below.

5. Third-party services

Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics 4

We use Google Tag Manager to manage tags and Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage. These tools are governed by Google Consent Mode: analytics and advertising tags only collect and send data after you have opted in to the relevant cookie category. If you decline, these tags do not store or transmit personal data beyond what is strictly necessary.

Google reCAPTCHA

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Google Ads (future)

We may in future use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. These will only operate after you have granted marketing consent.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above (which act as our operators/processors), and where required by law. Some of these providers may process data outside South Africa; where they do, we rely on their compliance frameworks and appropriate safeguards as contemplated by POPIA.

7. Data retention

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to and manage your request and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. How we protect your information

Enquiries are delivered over an encrypted, authenticated SMTP connection to our own mail server. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse.

9. Your rights under POPIA

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Be told what personal information we hold about you
  • Request access to it
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) — inforegulator.org.za · enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.

10. Managing your consent

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the button below. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant non-essential tags from running on future page views.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date reflects the latest version, and material changes may prompt the cookie banner to reappear.
